My name is Krista Woelk. I am 22 years old and have finished my Bachelors of Education Degree from the University of Regina. I grew up on an animal farm near Lumsden SK. I attended elementary and high school in Lumsden and enjoyed every minute of it. I took up piano and horseback riding from a very young age. In elementary and high school I was involved in Cross Country running and figure skating. During my summers I spent lots of time at Kedleston camp as a camper and then later I joined the dish crew team, cooked, and helped my grandpa in the boat with the children camps. Once I entered high school I started thinking about what I wanted to take in university. Teaching felt like the natural choice. I enjoyed tutoring and coaching skating, I have a special spot in my heart for children of all ages and their families, and I simply could not imagine myself doing anything but teaching.
I have also spent some time gathering several resources that I feel will provide my students and I with a lot of information whether it is for research or for online interactive use. Follow the link to view my delicious account. http://delicious.com/krista.woelk
I built an Empressr slide show documenting a summary of things that I have learned during my ECMP355 class. The items shown on this list are only things that I have learned this semester, they do not take into account my previous experience with programs and websites such as Delicious and Microsoft Office Programs. The following link gives access to the interactive slide show (watch out for the "click here" and the mouse turning into a hand when it moves across several words)
